Scrump-Inspired VooDoo Doll

This week I've been working on this Scrump inspired doll. There are a lot of patterns out there that are free and paid that I could have used, but I decided to go out on my own and make it like the one in the movie Lilo and Stitch. Well, it's as close as I could make it like the one in the movie.

I do love it though! I've been playing with it and holding it and carrying it around like a baby! (lol - there must be something wrong with me =D)

The doll itself measures right at 14" long (standing) but the bow and hair add an additional 6.5"! This is a big doll!

In the movie you can see Lilo wiggle her Scrump around and he appears so floppy and soft; this doll is VERY floppy and soft. It's filled with Cluster Stuff, which I think is much more squishy than polyester Fiberfill. And this doll's head is attached at a narrow point which allows it to loll around and lay all willy-nilly.

I do plan on re-writing the pattern and making it available for free through Ravelry so watch for the post on that soon.

Until then, have a peacefully blessed day!

    1. Thank you so much for the comment. It has me rethinking my decision to put this pattern to bed. After I made it, I looked and there were several patterns already out there for something like this. If I do decide to release this I will be sure to update this post and put it on Ravelry.

  4. My auto-correct ruined my previous comment.🤣 I have seen other versions of this pattern, but yours is the cutest. I would LOVE to make this from your pattern. I hope you'll consider publishing it.

  5. Hi my grand daughter has just sent this to me & asked me to make it.
Is it crochet or knitting as I’m not the best at either but have successfully made her a few items but don’t have the skills to make without a pattern so would be grateful if you could provide one or suggest where I might access one.
