Heart to Heart Bookmark with Pattern

Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I thought I'd make some "heart" related posts over the next couple of weeks. Appropriate. This is a pattern I adjusted from last years' post of a heart pin and I just made it onto a bookmark. You should be able to get one made in under an hour if you're a pretty quick hooker.  Pattern: Heart to Heart Bookmark Materials: Lily Sugar 'n Cream Cotton Yarn in Rose Pink and Yellow size I crochet hook (9 or 5.5mm) scissors embroidery needle for weaving in the ends a book for length measurements Gauge is not important for this project. Kitty Ears Headband

During the Christmas season we had an Angel from the Angel Tree that wanted "Anything Hello Kitty". I immediately thought, "I can finally make that hat!" And that's exactly what I did. But during the creative process I made a pair of Kitty ears that were way too big for a 6 y/o girl's hat, so in the drawer they went. And they sat there until Tuesday of this week when my daughter reminded me that I was supposed to do something with them. Well, do something with them I did! As you can see, with my beautiful daughter as a model, I made a headband with Kitty ears!
