Crochet Halloween Inspirations!
I spend more time than I like to admit browsing through posts on Pinterest. I thought I'd share some of the Halloween themed ideas I came across!
Halloween Doily
This idea from Ana at i made it so... just caught my eye and I've taken to looking through my stash for some embroidery hoops. I think I can get one made before the holiday gets here!
Another doily pattern that I found is very pretty and can be made in other colors for seasons outside Halloween is the Pretty Kitty Doily from FreePatterns.com. You do have to "join" their site to download the patterns for free.
Will you be having a Halloween party? If so, you might want to whip up these little cuties as a table top decoration! Beverly Mewhorter from TalkingCrochet designed these little guys with scary thoughts in mind. But I just think they're cute!
Rebeckah from Rebeckah's Treasures has another table top decoration that's sure to have people asking you to make one for them! This little pumpkin with his vine and leaves is just fantastic! Her tutorial has step by step directions with great pics so you won't miss a thing!
Maybe costumes are more your crochet style? Well, check out this awesome looking "Sorting" hat by Allison Hoffman at CraftyisCool. This is the best looking hat of this kind that I've come across and it's sure to be a hit with those that love the Harry Potter©® series of books and movies.
Another costume idea that grabbed my attention was this one from ISaveA2Z.com. A tail that can be made to any length and color you like! I love how she took the yarn, brushed the heck out of it and made it look like "fur"! It doesn't involve any crochet but I love it just the same!
Well, that's just a few of the things I've found so far. I'm sure to run across more and when I do I'll pin those suckers so fast it'll make your head spin! Or something like that .... If you want to follow along and maybe get some more inspirtation you can find me here on Pinterest and follow the boards "CROCHET" and "HALLOWEEN"!
Peace and blessings,
~~Karen~~
