Spread a few Kisses this Valentine's Day!

Image
With Valentine's Day fast approaching I'm starting to think of things I'd like to make. Hearts are always a popular thing but what's something you can make and give to your man? How about a Kiss? I recently came across this pattern and it caught my eye with the simple shape and look of the project. Place some weight in the bottom and you've got something he can sit on his desk or dresser to remind him of just how much you care! Here's a picture and a link to the pattern (from Petals to Picots ) so you can make a few of your own! Enjoy! Image and Design by Petals to Picots

I had no specific instructions from the customer other than, "Make it ME". I decided on the Artfully Simple Infinity Scarf from Moogly . I've made one before and really enjoyed how it looked when I was finished. Here's the result from that project (keep in mind that this photo does NO...

Finger Puppet Crochet Pattern

I took a much needed break from blogging over this holiday season, not because I hate blogging but because I was feeling stagnant. You ever get in a slump like that? Rather than churn out chum and make a big mess I decided to just take a few weeks off and recharge.  And now I'm back! This week I have a free finger puppet pattern for you to look at and I fell in love with these guys straight away. They're just too stinking cute! Grab a hook and lets get started: Materials : small amounts of yellow, red, black and blue yarn size G/6 4.25 MM and E/4 3.50 MM crochet hooks teeny buttons for eyes (or you could embroider them but I don't have directions for that) E-6000 craft glue scissors yarn needle Also, note that you can make any character you want from the basic stitch pattern that follows. The main things to change will be the yarn color and embellishments. Stitches used : Magic Circle (MC) Chain (ch) Slip Stitch (sl st) Half Double Croc...
